Jordan D. Davis

As a civil litigation attorney, Jordan Davis strives to help clients navigate the legal issues involved in their cases and, ultimately, achieve results that allow them to flourish.

Ms. Davis was born and raised in Middlesboro, Kentucky. During high school she was involved in many extracurricular activities, such as National Honors Society and the Beta Club. Ms. Davis developed a love of sports and understands the importance of teamwork and community.

Ms. Davis attended Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. She was an active member of the English honor society Sigma Tau Delta. Ms. Davis graduated summa cum laude in 2013. She obtained her JD, cum laude, from Lincoln Memorial University, Duncan School of Law, in 2016. She was a member of the Law Review and received various CALI awards. During her time in Law School, Ms. Davis was selected as the first student from the Duncan School of Law for a position to clerk with the Court of Appeals. Ms. Davis clerked for the Honorable D. Michael Swiney at the Tennessee Court of Appeals. In her position with the Court of Appeals, she assisted with the drafting of appellate briefs.

In the six years since her matriculation from law school, Ms. Davis continues to gain valuable litigation experience and strives to be the best at her craft. She joined Banks and Jones, Attorneys at Law, in 2023, to expand her legal knowledge and better serve the people of Appalachia.

When Jordan is not busy working, she can be found spending time with her fur babies and family. She also enjoys reading, attending ball games and horse races, and traveling. Jordan is passionate about education and reading, with a dream of producing children’s books in the future.
